RECOVERY SNACKS
Recovery snacks after depleting yourself in exercise is essential for recover and replenish your muscles. Carbs and proteins are both necessary to accomplish this. I have a go-to recovery smoothie I like to use. It contains a protein powder, fiber, sweetener, and fruit. I also add plain (preferably low fat/sugar) Greek yogurt and almond milk for extra protein. When I order from Smoothie King, I add Diet Down as well. My own homemade recovery smoothie recipe will be posted under the Recipe section soon.
